In 2024 SRC conducted a research trial in cooperation with a UC Davis professor at SYSMA Agriculture Research to study the effects of soiled applied Bovatein Organic Liquid Fertilizer.
Strawberry Plants
Bovatein Organic Liquid Fertilizer
Study Application Rates
Strawberry Plants
5 gallons per acre
10 gallons per acre
20 gallons per acre
40 gallons per acre

The leaf nitrogen concentration of strawberry plants was statistically significant between Control (B) and Bovatein (A). Leaf nitrogen concentration was only numerically different between Bovatein application rates

The chlorophyll content was measured using a SPAD meter. Chlorophyll content increased as the Bovatein application rate increased.

Trial Results Strawberry Yield (Lbs. per Acre)
Bovatein application at 40 gallons per acre produced heavier berries compared to control.
